The series was kicked off in 2012 by Jammie Kern, a recent Liberal Arts grad from the University of Oklahoma and mom to two girls.
Jammie Kern tackles Orion’s tale in, “Ryann in the Sky,” about a very tall basketball player having a very bad year. 
She’s grieving the loss of her father when a back-stabbing friend tries to dethrone her from the volleyball team heading into the championship. What makes a champion, and, moreover, what makes a friend? This story of overcoming loss and rising above the fray is a beautiful read from an amazing writer.

Jammie Kern also gave us”Taylor on Lockdown,” a young adult short story, is the second in the Mythology High series of twelve myths, modernized with tales of teenage angst and overcoming odds.
